Battleship Institute 2010
The Battleship Institute was designed for educators, but is perfect for anyone wishing to learn more about the history of the Battleship New Jersey. Sessions are held in the spring and fall. Special features include presentations by former Battleship sailors, former military members and battleship historians. Presented by the Battleship New Jersey and Camden County College, this workshop is open to teachers and the general public!

Adult Workshops
Have a group interested in learning how the engine room works? How about a discussion on the life of the most decorated Battleship in the nation's history and meet the men who served? Three hour workshops include lunch and a tour of the ship plus the topic session. This package is $45 per guest with a minimum of 20 guests.
Topics include:
- Battleship New Jersey history plus the opportunity to interact with the men who have served our country.
- Discover the inner workings of the Engine Room and Boiler Room.
- Learn all about the firepower aboard the ship, from the 16 inch guns to the tomahawk missile.
