GOLD WING ROAD RIDERS MOTORCYCLE ASSOC. RIDE TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE BIG J
Members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association New Jersey 2nd District are riding for the Battleship New Jersey on Sunday, Sept. 12. Last year, nearly 500 motorcycles made the trek from Cherry Hill to the Battleship for a BBQ on the fantail. All cyclists will enjoy a guided tour and BBQ on the Battleship’s Fantail, presented by AmeriHealth.

The Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) is the world's largest single-marque social organization for owners and riders of Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie motorcycles. GWRRA members enjoy the freedom of belonging to a not-for-profit, non-religious and non-political organization. Founded in 1977, GWRRA has grown to more than 80,000 U.S., Canadian and international members in 53 foreign countries in just 32 years. Over 800 active Chapters are managed by 4,000 volunteer leaders working with members to foster safe, enjoyable riding while also working to improve the public image of motorcycling.




BATTLE ON THE BATTLESHIP II MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT
The Battleship's Fantail will be the side of Battle on the Battleship 2 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 11.

On-Site Registration and Weigh-Ins for kids and teens will be from 7:30 am - 9 am on Saturdays. Kids and teen matches will begin at 10 am.

Adult Gi Registration and Weigh-Ins will be from 11 am - noon, with matches beginning at 1 pm. On-Site Registration and Weigh-Ins for Adult No-Gi will be from 1 pm - 2pm, followed by matches, which will then be followed by No-Gi Absolute.

Weigh-Ins will also take place on Friday, Sept. 10 from 5 pm - 8pm.

All pre-registered competitors receive a free t-shirt!

BATTLESHIP'S FALL TOUR HOURS TAKE EFFECT TUESDAY, SEPT. 7
The Battleship New Jersey will go to her Fall Tour Schedule for all Guided and Audio Tours beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7. The ship's first tours of the day will still launch at 9:30 am. However, the final tour of the day will depart at 3 pm. These tour hours will be in effect through Dec. 31, 2010.

Please note the Waterfront Connection shuttle service has discontinued for the season.

INAUGURAL BATTLESHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT SET FOR OCT. 18 AT SEA OAKS COUNTRY CLUB
Play golf at beautiful Sea Oaks Country Club in Little Egg Harbor Twp., NJ and support the Big J! The First Annual Battleship New Jersey Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 18, with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm.
