SAILOR OF THE YEAR CANDIDATES TO TOUR THE BIG J

DETAILS: Five candidates for the Navy’s “Sailor of the Year” program will receive a special tour of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial on Tuesday at 9 am. These finalists, who are being acknowledged for the award for outstanding service and going above the call of duty include MA1 James K Dobson, a native of Philadelphia, and Petty Officer First Class Juan Caro, who was born in Jersey City, NJ.
The tour of the candidates will be given by Capt. Walt Urban, USN, (ret), of Mt. Laurel, NJ, who also serves on the volunteer role of Military Liaison Officer for the Battleship New Jersey, our nation’s largest and most decorated battleship.
