BATTLESHIP FIRES 5-INCH GUN TO LAUNCH FLYERS CHARGE

The Battleship New Jersey launched the Philadelphia Flyers’ charge into the Eastern Conference Final Round of the NHL Playoffs with the firing of the legendary 5-inch portside gun on Sunday, May 16. Thirteen-year-old Ian McMenamin of Voorhees pulled the trigger to fire the charge at noon.
