Continuous Main Deck Now Completed with New Teak by the Carpenters’ Union

A very special thank you to the members of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, Local 255 for their extraordinary work on the new teak deck of the Battleship!  The continuous main deck is now completed, and the team is now working on the 02 level where they are prepping the steel for new teak. While this part of the ship isn’t on our regular tour path, it’s important for the longevity of the Battleship! Another huge thank you to our maintenance team
