Join us aboard Battleship New Jersey as we mark VJ Day and the end of World War II in the Pacific. Eighty one years ago, the guns fell silent and the world celebrated the end of the deadliest conflict in history. This August, step aboard and experience a taste of that moment firsthand.
Look to the skies for a WWII plane flyby, then witness a rare firing of our Quad 40 Bofors mount, a weapon we do not get to showcase often. Walk the decks alongside WWII reenactors bringing the era to life, and explore special displays in the Wardroom honoring the sailors and Marines who served in the Pacific.
It is a day of history, tribute, and hands-on excitement, all aboard the ship that helped bring the war to its end.
